September 25, 2008 Litter

12 weeks old. They got their final shots, and now it's time to say goodbye to the P class. When they leave HowLyn Cattery, they take a welcome package with them and leave only memories. Yeah, actually, they also leave a payment behind, too, but we're trying to be sentimental here. Without further ado, I present to you the final class of 2008, the P litter!

Michael Flood cuddles the adorable Purple Rose of Cario with his Mom. Word has it that Rose stopped off in Manhattan on the way home to stay with Grandma for the evening, before going on to Dad's digs in Long Beach. We have not received word that Grandma actually followed through on this promise, and was last sighted shouting "Possession is 90% of the law!" Michael, if she doesn't give her back, we think that you're entitled to that new MBP for Christmas.

Karen McGrantham needs a whole lotta help to wrangle Putney Swope and Pochahontas on their way to their new home. One might question the motives of a new owner who sends her son out for allergy shots so that he doesn't die from cat allergies. Her answer to us was something similar to "My husband says he's leaving me if I get one more cat. Gosh, I might even miss him!" Here, at least, Karen is giving medicine a chance to allow her child a better alternative to life on the streets. So we thought that was good enough, and approved her application.

Bonnie Pyler, professional cat wrangler, takes Nana under arm. There is absolutely no truth to the rumor that Nana has already learned simple words, like, "Come on girl. Go into the kitchen and bring me the blue pliers in the second drawer from the top left shelve. Actaully. make that the diagonal cutters, not the needle nose." Come on, only Lassie knows commands like that!
